1. send 发送，寄，派遣 (sent sent)
send sb. sth. = send sth. to sb. 寄给某人某物，接双宾。例如：

5. pick up 捡起，拾起
pick up 意为“捡起，拾起”，宾语为代词时，必须把代词放在pick 和up 中间；若宾语为名词，
可以放在pick 和up 的中间，也可以放在up 后面。例如：

9. look forward to 期待着…
look forward sth. 期待着某事；look forward to doing sth. 期待着做某事。例如：

10. plenty of, a lot of, a number of 的用法区别
plenty of, a lot of 后既可以加可数名词复数也可以加不可数名词。例如：

Leave yourself plenty of/ a lot of time. 给你自己留充足的时间。

a number of 后面只能加可数名词复数。例如：

11. what if…? 要是…会怎么样呢？
What if+ 主语+ 谓语？例如：
What if the train is late? 火车要是晚点怎么办？
