【词汇用法】
1.辨析noise,voice与sound
(1)noise通常指噪音,指人们所听到的不悦耳、不和谐的嘈杂声。
(2)voice一般指人的嗓音、说话声或歌唱声。
(3)sound泛指听到的任何声音或响声。
2.wolf n.狼
其复数形式为 wolves。
【拓展】 以f(e)结尾的名词,变复数时,要先将 f(e)改为v,再加es。

其复数形式为policemen。

fear此处用作不可数名词,意为“恐惧,惧怕”。
fear作及物动词时,常见以下用法:(1)意为“担心,恐怕”,相当于worry about。
(2)意为“害怕,惧怕”,相当于 be afraid of。
6.happen 不及物动词,意为“发生”,没有被动语态。
常用结构如(1) sth. + happen+地点/时间”表示“某地/ 某时生

(2) sth. + happen + to do 表示 “某人出了某事(通常是不好的事)”。

On a cold evening last winter, I drove home as usual. All of a sudden, 16 truck hit
