between与among
课文原句:This holiday is always on a Sunday between March 22nd and April 25th. 这
个节日总是在3月22日至4月25日之间的一个周日。
between介词,(表示位置)在···中间;介于···之间;(表示时间)在···之间,在···中间。
I’m usually free between Tuesday and Friday.
① among指三者或三者以上之间,其宾语通常是一个表示笼统数量或具有复数(或集
合)意义的名词或代词。
They hid themselves among the trees.
② between主要指两者之间,其宾语往往是表示两者的名词或代词,或者是有 and连接
的两个人或物 here was a fight between the two boys.
③ among还看了用来表示一个比较的范围,常与最高级连用。 She is the tallest
among the classmates.
【重点句型】
Not only do people spread them around in different hiding places for an egg

1.Not only··· but also···是一个并列连词,在句中连接两个并列对等的成分。

在使用not only...but also...时还应注意以下几点:
① 当not only...but also...连接两个主语时,谓语动词的数原则上与其临近的主语保
持一致。 Not only you but also he is wrong.
Not only I but also Tom and Mary are fond of reading novels.
② 为了强调,可将not only置于句首,此时其后的句子通常要用部分倒装形式。
Not only do they need clothes,but they are also short of water
Not only did I go to Beijing but ( also) Linda went there.
2.spread around传播: spread原型 spread过去式 spread过去分词
Ball games have spread around the world.球类运动已经在世界各地传播开了.
She was told not to spread this secret around.她被告知不要把这个秘密传出去.

3. give out分发=hand out
give out相当于hand out,为“动词+副词“型短语。其后所接宾语为名词,放在 give与
out之间或out之后均可;其后所接宾语为代词,则要放在 give与out之间。
