【重点语法】
used to与be used to的用法
(1)used to do sth.意为“过去常常做某事”，而现在往往不做了，用过去时态。如：
①I used to get up early in the morning when I was a high school student.
我是高中生的时候，我常常早上很早起床。
②She used to like basketball, but now she likes football.
她过去喜欢篮球，但现在她喜欢足球。
③I didn't use to exercise, but now I am used to playing basketball.
我过去不常锻炼，但现在我习惯于打篮球。
(2)used to be意为“过去曾经是”。如：
①My grandmother used to be an English teacher.
我奶奶曾经是一名英语老师。
②There used to be an orange tree in my aunt's yard.
我阿姨的院子里曾经有一棵橘子树。
(3)be used to 意为“习惯于”，其中 to 为介词，后面跟名词或动名词，还可以用
get, become来代替be。如：
①He is used to living in the countryside.
他习惯住在农村。
②He is used to a hard life in the countryside.
他习惯农村的艰苦生活。
(4)be used to do sth.意为“被用来做某事”，是被动语态的结构。如：
①Wood is often used to make desks and chairs.
木头经常被用来制作书桌和椅子。
②A knife is used to cut things.
刀是用来切割东西的。
【词汇用法】辨析：used to ; get(be) used to与be used to do
1.used to “过去常常，过去惯常”，只用于过去时, to后要接动词原形.
2.be used to …(get used to …) “习惯于”， 可用于任何时态，该短语中的 to 为介词，后跟
名词或动名词。
3. be used to do “被用来做…”,常用于被动语态中. used 是动词use的过去分词.
I used to get up early. I am used to getting up early.
I used to travel by air. I am used to traveling by air.
The robot can be used to do some dangerous work.
The knife is used to cut fruits.
比较：be (get) used to sth. / doing sth.
be used to + doing：
“对……已感到习惯”，或“习惯于”，to是介词，后需加名词或动名词。
I found the job tiring at first but soon I was / got used to it.
He is used to a vegetarian diet.
Scarf is used to taking a walk.
I am (get) used to taking the bus to school.
I am (get) used to studying more than 10 subjects a week.
I am (get) used to eating lunch at 11:30 p.m.
比较： be used to do sth.
该句式表示“被用于(做某事)”。注意: 句式中used是use的过去分词, be used是被动语态;
to为不定式符号,后跟原形动词。例如:
Don't throw away the papers. They can be used to make a fire.
别扔掉这些报纸,它们可以用来引火。
Wood can be used to make paper.木头可以用来造纸。
