Module 5
__________________________________________________________________________________
__________________________________________________________________________________
prepare, pretend, promise, refuse, wish 及 would like/love 等动词,但 finish, enjoy, miss, appreciate,
I hope to visit this place again.
She enjoys reading very much.
The driver failed to see the other car in time.
I think it our duty to obey the laws.
I found it difficult to see him here.
e.g.Tom refused to lend me his pen.
2
We hope to get there before dark.
The girl decided to do it herself.
Please show me your passport.
Please show your passport to me.
常见的可以接双宾语的动词有:give, bring, lend, pass, send, show, leave, buy, tell, teach, sell 等。

Robinson was born in a poor family. At seven, he had to pick coal in a deserted mine near
his home, and then he sold what he had picked and earned a few coins to help his parents. He
