Topic Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.
Period IV Section B(1a～1e)
本节课是Section B的第一课时，是一节听说课，在前面课时的基础上语言运用难
度有所提高,在话题的基础上进行的延伸和拓展，由描述人物性格、外貌变化转向
讨论人物行为习惯、爱好的改变。在语言上，该部分除了进一步巩固所学重点语
言内容外，还复习巩固了有关行为习惯及爱好的短语。1a-1b是词汇教学，帮助
学生学习新单词，巩固词汇和句型，并为接下来的听力活动做准备。1c和1d的
Analysis of 听力内容为话题，展示了一男孩和女孩的对话谈论过去和现在的变化，让学生进
the Teaching 一步体会目标语言在真实语境中的运用。1d是听力之后一个对话表演活动，学生
Material 在听力练习的基础上谈变化及其看法，把听到的信息转换成自己的话再表述出
来。学生需要运用本单元的目标句型组织自己的对话。综上所述，本课在本单元
具有承上启下的作用。本节课的教学设计的指导思想是把学生作为学习和运用语
言的主体，围绕知识和技能的综合提高来开展活动。教师需运用多种训练方式使
学生把听到、读到的语言信息转换为他们能说、能写的语言素材，对于学生能力
的提升起着非常重要的作用。
经过Section A的学习,学生已经学习了运用used to结构描述同学曾经的性格特点
和相貌，并且了解了used to结构的陈述句、疑问句及其简短答语。有了一定的语
