本课是一节听说课。在Section A的基础上进行听力输人和拓展话题内容。本课是一节
听说课。通过Free talk;How much do you know about the table manners in our country?来
导人新课。引导学生通过听说活动（table manners in China)，进一步了解和熟知更多

的语言信息转换为他们能说、能写的语言素材，对于学生能力的提升起着非常重要的
作用。综上所述，本课在本单元具有承上启下的作用。
经过Section A部分的学习，学生已经初步掌握了be supposed to/be expected to/ be
important to结构并了解了一些世界各国的礼仪习俗，加上多数同学对听力的话题即筷
子使用的礼仪比较熟悉，语言感知能力应该会更好。

在听力方面，九年级的学生已经出现了两极分化，这就需要教师用心设计听力活动和

说活动中来。该班学困生多，课堂积极性不够高，参与率低，教法精简重点词汇与句
