教学目标
I.Teaching aims
(1) Knowledge and skills:
Words: The students are able to use the new words, such as “sports meeting, Christmas party,
test, school trip, art, festival” etc.
Sentences:- When is the ……?- It’s on….
Skills:The students are able to talk about the activities and their specific dates; improve their
reading skills, and make a notice about the school activities.
(2) Process and procedures:
Students-centered learning; task-based approch; communicative approch; competition of groups
(3)Emotions, values and attitudes
The students are able to improve their sense of responsibility and cooperation; to inhance their
confidence.
2学情分析
The students can talk about the simple activities and their dates, and they have strong interest in
the topic-school actitivies. The whole class is divided into eight learning groups in their daily
school life, so they have strong motivation for the learning to win the other groups.

1.The students can improve their reading skills and understanding of the passage by working
with each other.
2. The students can make a proper notice about their own school.

活动1【导入】Task 1. Sing a song
The students are divided into eight groups (four students of each group).Every time the students from one group answer well, they can get one point.
The students sing a song We Will Rock You to get engaged in the class and get
ready for the learning.
活动2【讲授】Pre-reading Task2. Talk about the school
activities.
Task 2. Talk about the school activities in our school
The teacher presents some new words to the students. And the students compete
to make conversations about the new words.
Eg. -When is the Christmas party ? –It’s on December 25th.
-When is the school trip ? –It’s on December 10th.
-When is the art festival? -It's on June 2nd.

Study the passage carefully, ask and answer about the passage group by group.
Every time they ask or answer, they can get one point ( two points for better
ones ).
Eg. Group 1: What can the students do on November 3rd ? Why ?
Group 2: They can take part in an art festival.

活动7【练习】Post-reading Task7. Make a notice for our school
and report it.
Students work in groups and write down a notice for our school, and then some gr
oups come to the front and make the report.
活动8【测试】Task 8. Consolidation
Finish ten exercises on the Boxfish. The students finish the exercises through their
phones,the teacher analyzes the results, and choose three exercises where the
students make the most mistakes.
活动9【活动】5.Summary
The teacher give awards to the group which gets the most points, and the other
students show their appreciation by clapping their hands together.
