这是一篇应用文写作之推荐信。要求考生给图书馆王老师写一封100—120词的信。写信的由头题干
中已经明确给出(也是书信的第一段)： 学校图书馆需要购置一批新书， 现向学生征求意见。先写这
个内容来引出考生要提出的建议。关键是第二段的写作需要考生根据题干中的“推荐这两类书(科普类图
书popular science books和文学类图书literary books)”对要点进行扩展，即推荐这两类书的理由。扣住
“科普类图书popular science books”去挖掘推荐的这类书的理由：这类书用简单有趣的方法介绍基本原
理，帮助学生理解科学现象并激发学生的好奇心；围绕“文学类图书literary books”去挖掘推荐的这类
书的理由：这类书可以给人快乐和灵感，传递伟大思想，鼓励批判性思维。第三段写一写推荐信所用的
套语。

推荐信是写信人把所要推荐的对象推介给收信方时所写的信件。英语应用文写作中的推荐信所涉及
到的话题几乎囊括了“人与自我、人与社会、人与自然”的方方面面。但是高考(包括模拟考试)常考的
话题有：推荐自己或他人；推荐某项活动、传统节日、特色物(食)品等；推荐中外名著、名人名言(诗)、
科普读物、影视(剧)视频、报刊杂志专栏、特色课程和词/辞典、网站、软件等；推荐学校、公司、展览
馆、图书馆、俱乐部等；推荐旅游城市、名胜古迹、游乐场所、特色餐馆、小区住宅等。推荐信的写作
需要与前面所讲的申请信和建议信的写作点拨联系起来，相互借鉴(比如：推荐自己的自荐信实际上就类
似于申请信)。一般来说，高考应用文推荐信的题干对所推荐的对象交代得非常具体，但是对推荐的理由
则表述得又简单又笼统，因此，考生在写作时要特别注意围绕题干所给的要求增加具体内容，以使行文
连贯，力求符合题目所规定的字数要求。
第一段：(自我介绍)，交代写信的背景即写信的缘由、所推荐的具体对象；
第二段：介绍所推荐对象的几个方面并说明推荐理由(该段是表达的重点，需要考生根据题干拓展内
容，并加以充分说明)。视具体情况也可以写上有关联系人及其联系方式；
第三段：表示期待或愿望。
