一、今天的句子

But the fear of missing out on something important made me check the phone more often than before.

二、句子结构

第一步：用括号括出修饰成分

介词结构：of missing out on something important。它跟在fear后面，说明担心的内容。状语：more often than before。它补充说明查看手机的频率。

第二步：找到谓语动词

本句的谓语动词是made。

第三步：找到主语、宾语和补足语，确定句子主干：The fear / made / me / check the phone.

1. the fear of 对……的担心
