教学目标:
At the end of the class, the students will be able to:
1. list different ideas about whether kids should do chores or not.
2. share your own ideas according to the passage.
教学重点:
1.Key vocabulary:
stress, waste, anyway, provide, depend, develop, independence, fairness, since, neighbor,
ill, drop, independent.
a waste of time, spend...on...,in order to, provide...for...,depend on, do one’s part in
doing, take care of, as a result.
2.Key sentences:
a. They should spend their time on schoolwork in order to get good grades and get
into a good university.
b. It is the parents’ job to provide a clean and comfortable environment at home for
their children.

d. Since they live in one house with their parents, they should know that everyone
should do their part in keeping it clean and tidy.
