3. 细节至上:拒绝空洞的“He helped her”。
  · Her face was pale as a sheet, and she was sweating.
  · He was trembling uncontrollably, his eyes filled with panic and confusion.
  · Tears welled up in her eyes, tracing silent paths down her cheeks.
  · He sat alone on the bench, shoulders slumped, the picture of dejection.
  · The little girl was lost, sobbing and calling for her mother in vain.
  · His wheelchair was stuck in the mud, and he was struggling to move it.
  · A battle raged in his mind: "Should I mind my own business or offer a helping hand?"
  · For a moment, she hesitated, frozen by shyness and the fear of being rejected.
  · But then, a voice inside him whispered, "Do the right thing."
  · The sight of her helplessness melted all his doubts away.
  · Without a second thought, he knelt down and carefully helped the old man to his feet.
  · She rummaged through her bag and pulled out a band-aid, gently applying it to the cut on his knee.
  · Sitting down beside her, he said in a soft voice, "It's going to be okay. I'm here for you."
  · She handed him a tissue and offered a warm, understanding smile, which was more comforting than
any words.
  · Instead of giving him the answer directly, she guided him through the problem with patience, asking
questions that led him to discover the solution himself.
  · Gratitude shone in her eyes as she squeezed his hand tightly. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice
choked with emotion.
  · A radiant smile spread across his face, wiping away all the previous anxiety.
  · At that moment, he realized that true happiness lies not in getting, but in giving.
  · A warm feeling spread through her chest. It was a simple act of kindness, but it had made all the
difference.
  · That day, I learned that even the smallest act of compassion can be a beacon of light in someone's
darkness.
He helped the old man.
He rushed over and, placing a firm yet gentle hand under the old man's arm, steadied him.
She felt happy.
A profound sense of fulfillment washed over her, warming her from the inside out.
· help → assist, aid, lend a hand, come to one's rescue
· kind → compassionate, thoughtful, considerate
· happy → overjoyed, elated, a sense of fulfillment
Walk had always hated her unusual name. Kids often teased her about it, and she struggled to make
friends. One afternoon, she went to her favorite river to skip stones, praying that if she could skip a
stone all the way to the other side, she’d find a true friend. After many failed tries, the last stone
hopped across the water and landed on the opposite bank. Just then, a girl stumbled out of the bushes,
clutching her bleeding knee. Walk hurried over to help and decided to take her home.
1. Once they arrived at her house, Walk called out, “Mom, help! Someone is injured.”
2. The little girl looked at Walk and asked, “What is your name?”
答案:
1. Once they arrived at her house, Walk called out, “Mom, help! Someone is injured.” On hearing
this, Walk’s mother rushed out with a first-aid box. She let the girl sit on the sofa gently, cleaned her
wound carefully with cotton balls, applied some antiseptic cream and wrapped it with bandages. The girl
sighed with relief and thanked them repeatedly. While bandaging, Walk’s mother asked where she lived.
The girl replied that she had just moved nearby and got lost because all the houses looked the same.
Walk felt a flutter of excitement, wondering if her prayer by the river was coming true.
2. The little girl looked at Walk and asked, “What is your name?” Walk froze, her face turning red.
She hesitated, afraid of being teased again. Her mother smiled and answered for her, “Her name is
Walk.” The girl burst into laughter. Walk’s eyes welled up with tears. Suddenly the girl stopped
laughing and apologized sincerely. “I’m so sorry. My name is Run. Isn’t that hilarious?” Walk
stared at her in shock, then burst out laughing too. Since then, Walk and Run have become inseparable.
She finally knew that the best friend could come from the most unexpected coincidence.
