初中英语必考:other / the other / another / others / the others 一次分清

很多孩子做单选、完形，一碰到 other, the other, another, others, the others 就混乱。

核心区分逻辑：看两件事：①数量（两个 / 三者及以上）②特指还是泛指

✅ 逐个拆解

1. another

概念：泛指三者及以上里面的“另一个”（单数）

✅用法：后面 + 单数名词

例：I don’t like this pen. Show me another pen.

我不喜欢这支笔，给我看另一支。

重点：总数≥3，随便挑另外一个，没有限定是剩下全部。

2. the other

概念：特指的另一个

✅用法：

• 单数：一共只有2个，one… the other… 一个……另一个

例：I have two pens. One is red, the other is blue.

我有两支笔，一支红，另一支蓝。

• 复数：the other + 复数名词 = 剩下全部的东西

例：There are 50 students. 10 are boys, the other students are girls.

一共50名学生，10个男生，剩下所有学生都是女生。

3. other

概念：泛指其他的

✅用法：other + 复数名词，泛指“别的一些……”，不是剩下全部

例：Some students like math, other students like English.

一些学生喜欢数学，另一些学生喜欢英语。（不是剩下全部）

4. others

概念 = other + 复数名词，泛指“其他一些人/物”，后面不加名词

常用搭配：some… others… 一些……另一些……

例：Some people love reading, others love sports.

一些人爱阅读，另一些人爱运动。

5. the others

概念 = the other +复数名词，特指剩下全部的人/物，后面不加名词

例：There are 50 students. 10 are boys, the others are girls.

一共50名学生，10个男生，剩下全部都是女生。

补充：the rest

the rest 其余的，可以指代可数名词，也可以指代不可数名词。

例：Some water is clean, the rest is dirty.

一部分水是干净的，剩下的是脏的。

📌极简口诀（让孩子直接背）

有the表特指，无the表泛指；

有s不带名词，无s后面加名词；

one…the other，一共就两个；

another 另一个，数量三个起；

some…others，一些还有一些（不是全部）；

some…the others，一些，剩下全部。
