An Unforgettable Tech Exploration Tour
Last weekend I participated in a fabulous tech exploration tour in the city science museum organized
by our school.
It kicked off with an exhibition of the history of Chinese science, unfolding the awe-striking wisdom
behind. What followed was a hands-on experience, which uncovered the secrets of science. With a lecture
on the prospect of science, the tour was brought to an end. Not only did the tour instill me with a sense ofpride in our scientific advances, but it also planted in my heart a seed of scientific exploration.

Jenny was so sad that tears began welling up in her eyes. She dried the tears and tried to block out the
Christmas music that filled the entire hallway, not recalling her previous happy holiday. Suddenly, the
phone rang, breaking up her moment of self-pity. She reached over and picked it up. “Hello?” “Hi, Jenny.
This is Elsie.” Elsie greeted Jenny and asked when she would come back home on the phone. After
hanging up, Elsie felt heart-broken. She immediately gathered her workers and told the bad news.
Before long, Elsie and her workers bought Jenny a ticket home. When knowing it Jenny was so
amazed and shouted, “I’m going home! I’m going home!” She jumped up and down for joy. She began
happily preparing for the final exams. On Christmas morning, she was awoken early by laughter. The smell
of the holiday food and being able to stay with her family filled her with gratitude and love. The kindness
of some special friends helped her, a lonely freshman, to have the best Christmas ever.
